Basement Floor
DIRECTIONS
Before coating your floor, review the detailed instructions in the kit. These instructions are also available online - click the EPOXYShield Basement Floor Coating link under "Materials" above.
Vacuum the entire floor. Mop the floor with a household cleaner. Remove any mildew by scrubbing with a mixture of bleach and water. Rinse the floor thoroughly and let it dry completely.
Pour EPOXYShield Basement Floor Coating Part A into Part B and stir thoroughly. Allow to stand for a least 30 minutes, and mix again before applying. If you want to add anti-slip addititve, add it to the mixed coating now.
Cut in around the edges and in corners with a brush. Use a roller to apply EPOXYShield to the floor in 4’x4’ sections. Toss the decorative paint chips onto the wet film as you finish each section
Your basement floor will be ready to walk on in about 4 hours and ready for normal use in about 12 hours.
